On Thursday and Friday November 7 and 8, 2013 we successfully completed our two-day fall session zirconia implantology training and certification course. In attendance were six doctors from Maryland, Washington DC and Europe (Italy). Was also in attendance Mr. Don Albensi, CEO of Albensi Dental Laboratories in Pittsburg Pennsylvania.  This course on the zirconia ceramic dental implants was focused on zirconia as an implant material, its properties and uses in metal free implantology. Emphasis was also placed on case selection, advanced clinical and radiographic diagnostics, treatment planning and guided surgery. On Thursday Dr. Bobbie Beckman gave  an amazing presentation  on 15 years experience with ceramic implants across four different zirconia implant systems.
