Dr. Noumbissi was invited to speak  at the 24th annual convention of the Philippine Academy of Implant Dentistry (PAID) from February 11 to February 12 2012.  The convention was held at Unilab, Bayanihan Center in Manila. The topic  presented was: “Advanced and Accurate Treatment planning for Implant Overdentures: Pre-surgical and Prosthetic Considerations”.

On Saturday February 11, 2012,  Dr. Noumbissi  lead a breakout session moderated by Dr. Stephen Almonte who is an opinion leader and Key Doctor for DIO Implant in the Philippines. During this session, participants were introduced to the DIO Implant system and its use in different areas of dental implantology. Treatment modalities such as immediate implant placement, immediate loading of implants, implant overdentures and complex implant therapy were presented and discussed.  In response to the overwhelming attendance and interest,  a follow up half-day session was held at DIO Philippines  training center on Feb 13 in Quezon city.

On Sunday February 12, 2012, Dr. Noumbissi presented at the main event scientific session; his presentation highlighted diagnostic methods and modalities, pre-surgical considerations  that allow for predictable and functional implant overdentures.  The use of three-dimensional dental imaging along with treatment planning software in preparation for implant overdenture surgery was discussed. Dr Noumbissi’s lecture was attended by general dentists, implantologists, oral surgeons, orthodontists and prosthodontists. At the closing of the convention’s scientific session, Dr. Noumbissi was asked to participate in an open forum moderated by Dr. Paul Achacoso on implant dentistry and the future trends in dental implantology.
